Land of the Setting Sun

IMG_6703

Audrey and I decided to bike to the Knob again because we were told that it is one of the best places to view the sunset in the Woods Hole area. So we strapped on our helmets and took to the streets. We arrived at the beach just ahead of the setting sun. We got a chance to see the sun in all it’s red and orange glory…What a beautiful sight to behold! As the sun sinks into the ocean, the constant passing of time seems all the more real. We were jerked out of our state of reverie as the pesky mosquitos attacked with the force of an army. It’s definitely difficult to stay in one place for an extended period of time without feeling like you’re being eaten alive…but such is the result when you get the privilege of witnessing the arrival of the night.
